Ad Black Sea 2019 Branding

The 5th International Advertising Festival Ad Black Sea, founded and organized by WINDFOR’S will be held on September 19-21 in Batumi, Georgia. Once again the festival has a new creative concept and accordingly, a new branding.

BRING IT OUT is the chosen concept of the 2019 festival – a call to share your ideas, talent and energy with everyone, out in the open. We found doodling to be the most authentic form for demonstrating this process.

“Doodling while you are thinking about various ideas is like pouring your subconscious onto a paper. You notice as you go that each illustration reminds you of something. It’s arguably the best way of getting to the idea” – Mari Sukhishvili, Senior Art Director, Windfor’s.

This year’s branding is very special for another reason.  We visited almost every member agency of Association of Communication Agencies of Georgia (ACAG) and collected up to a thousand doodles! So in a way, this year, all of these agencies are co-creators of the festival’s branding.

In September, the authors of the doodles will discover their work in the streets of Batumi, in social networks and on the t-shirts of festival attendants.
